The IPS Group of Companies is a group of independent companies. IPS was founded in 1988 and is deploying over 450 employees in the Maritime Industry in various part of the world. For the last years IPS has gone through an expansion and internationalisation process. During this time the Group has developed and expanded its operations to cover not only the Maritime industry such as dredging and offshore but also other areas including, tunnelling, oil & gas, petro-chemicals, infrastructure, civil engineering and general recruitment.
IPS is a financial sound company financed with private capital and all the shares are held by the Directors. The international character, the flexible approach, a healthy financial status and the quality awareness guarantee a dynamic approach of the management devoted to growth, quality and a constant improvement of our services.
The company’s headquarters is in Capelle aan den IJssel, The Netherlands with offices and representatives, Sharjah (U.A.E.), Jakarta (Indonesia), Maasmechelen (Belgium), Cape Town (S.A.), Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Yarm (UK).
Divisions of the IPS group of companies
The IPS group of companies contains 4 specialised divisions:
1. Maritime division (Offshore, Dredging, Merchant Navy)
2. Tunnelling division (to cover all personnel aspects of tunnelling)
3. International labour division (cross border labour supply)

1. Maritime Division
From its origin IPS supplies personnel to the international shipping community. IPS is able to provide personnel ranging from deck hands to Maritime Masters. Two main fields of expertise are Offshore and Dredging crew supply. Specialized personnel is available in these fields, ranging from dredge masters, sand fill personnel, superintendents, survey personnel to ordinary seaman. IPS also can arrange complete crew management and deliveries.
2. Tunnelling Division
The IPS database contains highly trained and professional personnel, mostly with overseas experience covering all aspects of tunnelling including electrical and technical maintenance,
TBM assembly, trouble shooting, training, shaft-sinking, TBM drives, handwork and NATM.
Requirements from a single specialist to a complete crew for assembly, maintenance or operation can be quickly and economically arranged.
3. International Labour Division
Since 1998 IPS has specialised is cross border labour supply. IPS can arrange the supply of personnel for projects. In accordance with the local legislation, IPS will arrange tax matters, social contributions, transportation, insurance and all other arrangements involved in cross border activities. For each project a special project team will be formed and an approach will be determined. Projects have been executed in marine works, offshore construction, bridge building, tunnelling, civil construction, welding, etc. Employees can be recruited locally or imported from other countries.
4. Staff and Technical Personnel Recruitment
We have long term experience in recruiting staff personnel for Maritime contractors in all disciplines on project basis. The IPS data base contains over 10.000 candidates and is growing by the day. The recruitment division aims at the recruitment of staff and technical personnel, both on and offshore
Specialists of all nationalities are available, ranging from technical superintendents, to oil and gas specialists, HSE and QA QC people but also mechanics, welders and foremen.
